UP-AND-COMING DOES

Another BetteHOCUS POCUS
SVR1 Victoria’s Bette Midler

Sire: KNR Triple Attitude
Dam: SVR1 Miss Kitty’s Victoria Barkley
Born: 10/30/22
Hocus Pocus and here comes Bette! You know about Bette Midler’s movie, right? Well, there’s no trick here. Bette is a real Halloween treat. She has a delightful personality and is a load of fun to watch. Look out world—Bette is making a spot for herself!

Gypsy Rose LeeLET ME ENTERTAIN YOU
SVR1 Gloria’s Gypsy Rose Lee

Sire: RBGS Smokin’ Hot Gun
Dam: SVR1 Elizabeth’s Gloria Vanderbilt
Born: 11/2/22
Gypsy Rose Lee and her sister Ginger Rogers loved to dance around the corral when they were little. We sold Ginger but Gypsy continues to go on entertaining all of us. She commands attention and is always the first one you notice when entering the corral. She just has that something…star quality!

(Check out this feature article that shows a pic of the sisters together!)

Callie 2HAPPY ENERGY
SVR1 Ripley’s Callie

Sire: KNR Triple Attitude
Dam: Rio Vista Ripley
Born: 11/4/22
Keeping with her mother’s line of “Alien” movie names, Callie is named for the actress Callie Hernandez, who played the character “Upworth” in the 2017 Alien film, “Covenant.” Like the actress, Callie is a little beauty. She is sweet and friendly and loves attention. She comes out of one of our herd’s finest does (find more about Ripley on this page) so she has some big hooves to fill. Her brother Parker will be shown at the Cattlemen’s Days Fair in Gunnison, Colorado summer 2023.

PearlPEARL HARBOR DAYS
SVR1 Diamond’s Pearl

Sire: KNR Triple Attitude
Dam: KNR She’s A Diamond Diva
Born: 12/8/22
Pearl was born the day after Pearl Harbor Days: thus, her name! Plus, it fits perfectly in the tradition of the gems on her mother’s side. She is a beauty but prefers that you gaze at her from afar!

P8290057JUST TOO CUTE
RBGS Little Liza Blurr

Sire: 4-L Boer Goats Fired Up
Dam: RBGS Little Blurr
Born: 6/2/23
This little gal had to come live at Swan View Ranch. Just look at that adorable face! She is just a baby right now but we all know how fast babies grow. Before long she will be a mama herself with babies of her own. Go Little Liza, go!

FireflyFIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
RBGS Firefly

Sire: 4-L Boer Goats Fired Up
Dam: RBGS Little Blurr
Born: 6/2/23
Okay so I am not usually interested in the red goats!  I have owned two that were born here on the ranch, but I have never BOUGHT one till now. I really wanted Liza and they do better growing if they have a mate so Firefly came along with her sister. I know our daughter will be thrilled as she loves the dark red color with the dark legs. It will be interesting to see what Firefly and Henry have for offspring in another year since Firefly looks like Henry’s sire!  The suspense is building…

What a nice collection you have. They are all great looking and it’s impressive that you pick out their personalities so quickly and completely. They are lucky to come into your world and get such excellent care.

Thank you Diane. We spend a lot of time with our animals and get to know them well. We are very pleased with this group of young girls and look forward to what they will do in the future.
